I'd love to have Arthur on Detroit. Plays his heart out every minute. We could use certainly use his determination and effort off the bench. It's too bad theres no way Memphis would get rid of him.

I can certainly see a playoff roster, the one that Dan identified. The great frustration of the season was that fact that that rotation never came together and was never really tried. Of course, part of that was injuries, but a bigger part of that was Kuester's stubborn and insane (the definition of insanity being trying the same things over and over and expecting different results) tendencies. Also notice who's missing from that roster - Hamilton and Maxiell both of whose presence of the floor (outside of when HOAM bothered to show up) cost the team games. But the biggest part of the story was the five game losing streak to open. Four of those five games were winnable and if the Pistons had just managed to split them, it would have been a very different season.

I agree with this. IF the Pistons were perfectly healthy, and IF everyone was contributing at optimal levels, then you've got a team in the mid-30's, fighting with Indy. But that's way too many if's.

I don't see a playoff rotation on the roster. If Wallace and Mcgrady could've played 30 minutes a game each then maybe, but those two aren't cut out for that. If Jerebko would've been healthy as well.

A Stuckey, Rip, Prince, Monroe, Wallace with Bynum, Mcgrady, Daye, Jerebko, Wilcox bench might have been playoff caliber if everyone was healthy and didn't miss any time or have any minute restrictions. Throw Gordon, CV, and Maxiell in there and that's too many non-contributers in the rotation to make it playoff caliber. The Pistons don't have a star so they would need positive contributions from almost everyone in the rotation to get to 40 wins. And they would need to be able to play their better players (Monroe, Jerebko, Mcgrady, and Wallace) a significant amount of minutes and that wasn't possible with any of them. Monroe was a rookie, Jerebko was hurt, and Mcgrady and Wallace have too much mileage.
