holy cow! you’re so right. monroe was apparently the only one who consistently listened to the coach, and the only “important” player who didn’t participate in the protest. imagine losing your most stable personality and replacing it with the biggest malcontent in the league. ha.

though if that happened, i don’t think there’s a chance kuester survives the season, so maybe that would have been a good thing after all. would have been entertaining for sure.

I just had a thought…..right after last year’s draft David Aldridge reported that the Pistons were trying to trade up to get Demarcus Cousins. How much worse would Kuester’s season have been had that happened?

wow, that Ron Rothstein season reminded me of the Pistons of the past 3 years… bringing an influx of offensive minded and soft players, champions getting old & traded away.

we need to draft
Biyombo/ Darius Morris
or Enes Kanter / Keith Benson to get some weght, strength, and shot-blocking back into the Pistons Basketball

Floyd is a good inclusion, especially the circumstances with which he took over. Jerry Krause basically announced that the players and Phil Jackson didn't matter and he went about proving it by bringing in like Brent Barry and Andrew Lang, then rounding up Floyd to coach them. That Bulls rebuilding effort was such a hilarious train wreck, and Floyd was a major reason why, other than Krause, of course.

I loved that team, though, because the Bulls are the team that gave Flint's Eddie Robinson a huge deal and then watched him spectacularly flame out of the league.

Good article. This might count as a string of seasons but what about when Tim Floyd coached the Bulls. Especially the 2000-01 year I think there was a lot of turmoil.

Yep – the site is completely loaded. It is Chrome on OS X. It’s been like this for a few days now.

That’s strange. I also use Chrome and have never had the site look like that. Is it fully loaded? We’ve had some issues with how it looks while loading that we’re looking into, but once the site loads, we’ve never seen any problems like that.
