I don't think you could go wrong with either one of those coaches. I'm not sure about Sloan, but Adelman has said he wants to continue coaching. Sadly who knows if he'll want to take on what is essentially a rebuilding project. Still you have to think that Monroe would be a good substitute for Webber, or Yao in Adelman's offense.

Given that they are out there and I think anyone who reads this blog would love to see them coaching the pistons maybe Piston Powered could give us a profile on both coaches and why they would, or would not be good choices. As a side note, I love Laimbeer as much as the next guy, I'm just not sure he is ready to be an NBA coach yet.

I often write I would like Adelman, Patrick agrees on this one too. As for Sloan, he could really show Stuckey how to be a pick-and-roll PG, plus with the combination of Monroe and other athletic big men (Wilcox, Maxiell) this time might be able to make the playoffs when the season starts. I'd sure be looking forward to it!

I am hoping he does too rick. If not Adelman then i hope we chase Sloan. I am hearing whispers of New Orleans assistant Malone as an option but i seriously think we need an established coach here.

hey guys, I just read that Adelman is out in Houston. He seems like he would be the perfect coach to develop Monroe, and Jerebko's backdoor cuts would fit perfect in the princeton offense as well. Any chance Joe goes after him?
