You had Tyreke Evans, Michael Beasley, Hickson, and Kevin Love, among others. But Singler held his own. He was a coveted recruit coming out of H.S., he was the top SF in the country for that recruiting class. And he'll be mature enough to help a team immediately. He's also played with the US U18 team. I'm not saying this guy is the savior, but he's a fine NBA ready role player in the second round. I'm blanking on his name but i watched him a couple of times and was impressed. He looked a legit 6'6", and had great body control and a very good handle. Singler looks like he can be that guy almost how hansbrough is to indiana. I dont mind his perimiter shooting and 3pt shooting but if you drafting a guy in the 2nd rd we shouldnt have to depend on his scoring. he has to earn his time on the defesive end, I like the pick because hes a 4 year guy he's smart and he will play hard. So why not, actually it would be almost similar to picking up a free agent on the cheap. I think he will be a better player off the bench than maxiell or summers.
