Everyone used to call Kuster an offensive genius when he was an assistant in Cleveland. Lets face it Lebron can make any offensive coordinator look like a genius. I just hope Joe does not hire Eric Spolestra next. There is another coach who does not know what he is doing but I would say he is better than Q.

I didn’t get to watch this game but it’s always intriguing to look at the box score to see who started, who even played, how many minutes each guy played, if someone new got a DNP-CD. On a west coast road trip against playoff teams losses are almost guaranteed so this is how the Pistons garner interest these days…..who played in this game?
On another note….haven’t we seen enough of BG already? It is clearly not working out.

Kuester’s only objective at this point is to avoid burning bridges as he transitions back into life as an NBA assistant. He’ll inevitably end up coaching some of these guys on a future team. And I agree, I’m not sure he’s even accomplishing that modest goal.

well, we all know kuester’s an idiot, so here’s my guess on what kuester is thinking:

ill let bg and wilcox start, so that way, they’ll be labeled as starter and should be happy, and ill give rip, daye (when prince is a wuss and don’t wanna play pf) starter minutes so they’ll be happy too. but in reality, all kuester is doing is disrespecting all of them. your starter thinking, im starting i should get minutes, which they aren’t, while your bench guy is thinking im playing the majority of the minutes so i should be starting, not coming off the bench

Exactly what I was thinking. Rip is playing starters minutes and got the most shots for the 2nd straight game, might as well just start him.

Its like they think they are fooling Gordon by calling him a “starter”, then giving Rip all his minutes after the 1st qtr.

I personally dont think Gordon deserves starters minutes, but if they agree as well, why is he even here? He should’ve traded.

And if they are going to be playing Daye at PF, why is he not starting at PF?

All that talk about Daye and Monroe being the frontcourt of the future, why are they not starting together now when the only alternative is Chris Wilcox?

Nothing makes sense anymore with this team. I dont know how it to this point. I became a huge fan in the early 00′s again because of all the logical moves they were making compared to what I was used to with the Lions. Now there’s no difference, and one could argue the Lions make more logical decisions nowadays.

its time to DNP bg and cv already. whats the point of even playing them if they are gonna get less than 15min. mine as well give those minutes to bynum and summer, or the other guys kuester is trying to develope some more just to have them leave next year.

also whats the point of even starting bg and wilcox if they aren’t even gonna get the minutes to play. if you’re not gonna play them starter minutes, and play backup starter minutes, why not just let those back up guys start. kuester just disrespecting them by letting them start and only play a few minutes
