Jonas Jerebko officially won’t return this season
It was already assumed by most, but John Kuester confirmed to the Detroit News that Jonas Jerebko won’t play this season:
Jonas Jerebko hoped for a late-season return with the Pistons. But with 14 games remaining, coach John Kuester has dismissed that possibility …
Kuester is disheartened, to say the least. “I’ve never seen a kid work so hard to try to get back,” Kuester said. “It’s killing him. He’s worked extremely hard to get back.”
I admire that Jerebko wanted to get back this season, but there’s really little incentive to do that and risk re-aggravating the injury. Now he’ll have a full offseason to heal and try to take back the starting job he looked to be on the verge of earning before his preseason injury.

He is the single biggest addition I am looking forward t next season. Dumping some guys in the offseason would be gravy . . . . .
