KG loved the paint, was a beast. Incredibly productive around the hoop with a defensive mindset. P. Jones is nothing like KG.

The warning signs are flashing all around P. Jones. He doesnt make his teams better, isnt very productive.

Even if he pans out to be a star caliber soft PF, which is his ceiling. I dread the day he signs that first big contract.

Sounds a lot like KG, who was very thin coming into the league and still is quite thin for PF – but is still a HOF PF. So not sure bulk should move him to the perimeter. And KG has used his length, athleticism and quickness to great effect in the post (he was never much of a banger but obviously a great rebounder and defender in addition to a very good post scorer).

My first round draft dreams are Irving, Sullinger, Kanter and Kemba Walker. With Jones, Henson, Valanciunas and Williams on the list as well (even though I haven’t seen as much of them).

Even if the Pistons get jumped in the Lottery, I think there’s a good chance at least one will be available.
