i would really love to take the hometown boy in benson. hes very coachable, we have arnie who can do wonders for anyone, hes a smart guy (hes almost completed his masters), hes been a shot blocking monster his whole college career, doesnt get intimidated by "big" name players and best of all hes an oakland golden grizzly.

huge ups to my grizzlies who almost won their game against texas this year.

go black!

Way he plays Matt Howard would be a good pickup late, he's tough and throws his body around to get boards. 1st round big man plus him we'd be so much better on the glass.

Eh, I disagree here. We do need a franchise altering big man, or a franchise altering something. And Darko still sucks.

Second round big men are no sure things. In fact, there is no one as advanced as McGee or Jordan were who will go in this year's second round, I'd bet on it, and those guys were really raw when they were drafted.

Guys like Benson and Johnson I think would be good picks for Detroit, but I'd be shocked to see either guy make a NBA rotation, even on a bad team, as rookies next year. They both need a lot of gym time to gain weight.

I'm usually not a fan of drafting for need instead of skill, but the Pistons really don't need another guard. They are good big men available, just pick one. It doesn't have to be a franchise altering big man, just someone like Javale McGee or DeAndre Jordan, a shot-blocking presence on the interior. If Dumars can find a center who fits the description he shouldn't hesitate. Hell, if we had a player like Darko now I would be happy. How things have changed! haha
