BIG MARV i am with you on this. Yeah it was a great win but just like the Raptors game it is ruining our chances to get an effective draft pick. The season was over for us 2 weeks before the all-star break. I know it, you know it and heck Tayshaun even stated it. Yeah it feels good to get another win but winning from hear on end is practically more like losing. I was just reading that Deron Williams might be out for the rest of the year which would pretty much ruin any chance of the nets over taking us. I am no rooting for us to lose but i won’t be hanging myself if we do cause the nba plain and simply rewards you for being mediocre…roll with the punches i say.

Great win but it seems like its messing up our chances of getting a good lottery pick thats the effects of a mediocre team. Win too much to get a good pick, and lose enough to be out the playoffs.

Patrick’s column is on point. Q made some good de3cisions last night using Stuckey on Anthony and inserting Bynum for his speed and ability to penetrate. I personally would not have had Ben Gordon in the game at the end but you cannot question the overall results.

Wilcox sure has a lot of tools, doesn’t he? If only he understood the game.

and i would mention how much Ben Wallace’s return means to the Psitons. He frustrated Stoudemire several times early in the game and as always, set the tone for the Pistons

Yep. It’s no secret really. If you play hard, even if you’re bad, fans in Detroit will watch you and support you. If the Pistons played this hard all year and won 10 games, fans would still be way more interested in the team than they are now.

It really was a surprisingly enjoyable basketball game. The best part? The Pistons made me want them to win a game again, and then they did it!
