He is in charge of personnel decisions. He hired Kuester and every player on the Pistons and has not done anything to diffuse the time bomb he created. I don't know how much his hands are tied, but the last few years have taught us that even with ownership resolved, he may well have gotten nothing doe through the trade deadline because he thinks all his players are twice as good as they are.
