Dude, I feel Rip needs to go too, but really? You going to dump Rip for all those past years? Guy could play, score, run the other team ragged. He’s a champion and one of the all-time scoring leaders in franchise history. So because Jordan played for the Wizards we should erase all his Bulls’ legacy? Or if that new Paul McCartney song doesn’t suit you we should just strike the whole Beatles thing from the record? Nice.

Naw I dont want no JJ Reddick Jr. with detroit and you already know when ferdette comes hes gonna ride the pine from here to London, Canada fo 6 years he will be another project. I rather for them to draft nolan smith but im not thinking about draft pick up’s untill the ncaa tourney is done.

Stuckey is the SG, he’s horrible as a PG and why McGrady is so much better at playing the position. Joe blew his chance to draft E. Maynor or any of the other 6 or 7 PG’s that went in that draft. JOE”S GOTTA GO!

Bottom line, Rip is the same player who Jordan couldn’t stand and traded because he wouldn’t hit the weight room saying it would mess up his shot. Rip is and has been a coward & and drama filled since day 1, this is the same guy who routinely passes BACKWARDS to the trailer rather than going strong to the hoop and taking the hit and getting the “AND 1″. Who never dove on the floor and overestimates his worth to his team, Joe made a smart move not to max out Big Ben that year and got him back cheap, but then gives Rip that ridiculous deal later that he can’t move now. Clear indication that Joe needs to go and Rip has to sit.

The only way for the Pistons to get where they were just a few seasons ago they have to do a major overhaul. 1.Get rid of old players (except Ben Wallace)- this means everyone-from Gordon and Villanueva (cut the losses) to Rip and Tay (they really don’t want to hang out to rebuild). 2. Get rid of the terrible Gm and coach, replace the GM with a real exec and get Laimbeer as coach. 3. Starting line-up: C. Monroe, PF. Jerebko, SF. Daye, PG. Stuckey, SG. (?- Freddette would be nice). Throw in a couple free agents or easy trades- like Chris Kaman (local ties) or the like and we have a .500 team- good enough to qualify for the playoffs in the East for years to come.

I want Rip gone, but really.
Think of it as if you were in his shoes. Do you want to leave money that is rightfully and contractually yours? Rip wants to play AND keep his money. I can’t fault him for that. HIs attitude . . . . . well that’s another matter.
