Look at what happen yesterday they played the young guys and guess what no problems they played hard and listened to their coach. giving us are first win against utah since 2005..all the old guys are stuck with there past success. they all still think there to good for this guy..There is nothing you can do to change a grown mans mind when hes make millions ..why should he listen to anyone? I’d love to see the lineup from yesterday play the rest off the season and let all of those older guys walk or get traded

i fail to see how kuester is “doing his job”?!?! isn’t his job to lead a basketball team to victories? also i can’t take someone seriously who suggests getting mike brown. plain and simple, kuester has to go, all the players who are acting like spoiled brats have to go.

Get ride off em all this summer Kuester is a good coach all these players think there to damn good, this is getting embarrassing. Even Ben Wallace and T-Mac Really liked both those guys til this. Dont get ride of John hes doing his job these players are too big headed and don’t RESPECT their coach like a REAL basketball player would. Joe D needs to step in Deactivate em sign some scrubs let them get some Nba time. Cleveland is doing it so why can’t we..jus give us a better pick to replace these Bums!

Kuester does need to be fired, but its WAY past time for Joe Dumars to be fired. Ever since he made the A.I./Chauncey deal the Pistons have been on the decline. And this year they hit rock bottom. Laimbeer is not the solution, the Pistons should look in to Mike Brown, Lawrence Frank or Mike Fratello. Add that to a total roster overhaul (keeping Greg Monroe as your future center and Ben Gordon as a 6th man) should have the Pistons on a slow but sure track back to being a good team in the NBA again.

rip wasnt having any worse a season than ben gordon or stuckey, and that’s not the reason he is benched. if he was demoted for playing poorly, then he would still get minor minutes. since ben wallace alluded to the fact that some things were said behind the scenes, i would speculate that the two just didnt get along and kuester didnt want to take crap from him, and went overboard and benched him.
On a side note, I think that they should get rid of kuester and rip over the summertime and not resign prince or anyone else that has a problem with authority. we dont want all the young players to start complaining and questioning the coach all the time.

Yeah, Daye was the surprising one to me too. I think it's possible he might have just overslept or something and it was a coincidence it happened to be on a day when the Pistons were planning something like this.

He certainly hasn't had a good relationship with the veteran guys it seems, so it definitely seems odd he'd suddenly be in their alliance.

He wasn't playing Rip because Rip was having a terrible season. Not that Gordon or Stuckey were having fantastic ones, but they were both clearly playing better than Rip and someone needed to sit, so it should be the guy who is playing worst.
