correction: it’s always easy to blame anything on stuckey. he’s the worst. i blame dumars for wildly misevaluating his talent, but stuckey can safely be blamed for everything else.

was at the game last night. Stuckey was terrible, and the team’s body language during that second quarter was pathetic. Stuckey looks like and plays like a rookie from what I have been seeing. His ability to affect the game is limited and easily taken away. He (as many of the Pistons) is too easily mentally conquered.
Charlie V was on fire. That guy makes some real junk shots sometimes.

this game highlights the one weakness of T-Mac’s game – pace. He is a very deliberate player now and while he can still create pace with long transition passes, he is unlikely to have a positive impact on games where the other team is pushing the ball effectively on every possession.

hard to blame Stuckey for this loss although he played poorly. This was a true team effort.

Every player on this team has weaknesses, some multiple, along with things they do well. Without a franchise type player to build around and with a coach who has no clue what is happening on the floor, each player seems to get exposed for what they do poorly every 3 games or so.

I haven’t seen the box score yet but I’m pretty sure we played them even in the first and third quarters. Beat them in the fourth by, what, 11 even with the padding at the end?

The game was lost during the first half to two thirds of the second quarter when the Bobcats went on something like a 20-to-2 run. I don’t think you can blame Q for taking out Charlie and Ben though. He’s been switching to a bench lineup for the start of the second to good effect for the last few games, why change things now when the starters played the first quarter even? Who knew Rip and T-Mac would stop scoring today?

To my eye Charlie had a killer game. Nice to see Daye get a little floor time.

Another 0 pt, 2 reb game for our starting Center, that makes 2 in a row.

And Maxiell had a stellar night with 0 pts, 1 reb, and an alarming -17 in only 6 min of play.

To think that has been our starting frontcourt tandem for much of the season BY CHOICE of the coaching staff, disgusts me.

Neither should even be playing 1 min/gm, let alone ever starting again.
