well we've tended to agree on a lot lately, but not always. for one, i'm not sure we're any better than cleveland. give them another crack and i bet they win. i may be wrong, but i have a feeling anyone could beat us given a second look and the chance to adjust. you can bet yer ass kuester's not making the necessary adjustments to keep up. we also disagreed in a previous thread where his negativity made me look like polly sunshine. check it out. it's amazing!

@nuetes and laser:
Are you two tag team partners now, or what? Sure, you guys are strong now, but if you remember what happened when the Mega Powers exploded, these alliances don't last for long.

yeah small ball can only get you so far, or fast pace small ball, or pheonix suns ball. however you want to put it. it might work against some teams and in some cases, but cleveland is pretty bad. worse than we are. and outside of varejeo their front court is crap. in fact very comparable to ours with Varajeo playing the Big Ben role (defensive rebounder), Jamison for CV (stretch 4), Hickson for Monroe (potential), and Hollins for Max (scrubs). overall it's about the same, which means just as bad. our guards/sf's are slightly better so we get the overall advantage in personnel. go small against a team with a good front court and it's over, quickly.

i've been reading empty promises of a faster pace for years now. also, i'm just plain not a believer in small ball, period. it's a novel idea, given the personnel we're somehow stuck with, so i'll believe it when i see it.

Laser, we've seen small ball with these guys. But we'd rarely, if ever, seen fast-paced small ball with these guys. It's a completely different thing.

if there's one thing this ISN'T, it's "sustainable." it worked once, but is there even one other team that's as small as cleveland on the perimeter? we saw a whole season of small ball with basically all these same guys, so... 'nuff said.
