Haha. You never miss a chance to praise Daye for anything minor.
"He tried really hard to not get smashed on the boards tonight and he lined up his thin beard really nicely before the game."

aldridge was tough on ben tonight in the first quarter. monroe is playing poorly in the second. Not finishing, not rebounding, playing ok defense but being called for rookie fouls. CV had an active body tonight. It would help alot if anybody on the Pistons blocked out. Portland is a good offensive rebounding team and the only player on the Pistons who boxes out every play is Austin Daye.

Rip looks poor tonight. Ben Gordon needs to start. Will bynum is being completely outplayed by this kid Johnson. And T-Mac looks slow. Crafty - but very slow.

@Regan:
Craziness. Wallace has changed his game quite a bit these last two years. He's become a pretty good one-on-one defender, he understands positioning better than most and the most impressive thing about him is he's basically the only dude who is a defensive presence up front, so there's a lot of pressure on him each game. He's not the force he was in the mid 2000s, but he's still really good defensively.

I don't believe that the Camby - Wallace matchup will be that great. Camby is easily superior to Big Ben at this point.

Big Ben is hardly a good defensive player. He's a solid team defender, but he is killed by pretty much everyone one-on-one in the low post. He's pretty much just a rebounder at this point. And he's only fighting CV or Daye for D rebounds. SO his stats are probably inflated.
