hollinger’s take on prince is interesting, but mistaken in once crucial point, imho.
he assumes, as most observers do, that joe d actually wants to trade tay.
i don’t think he really wants to do so, and the only way he will trade him is if someone makes him an offer he just cannot refuse.
i don’t think joe d has ever had a real intention of trading either tay or rip, despite what many believe. if you review his public statements on both players and what he says about trading either or what he says about competing this year, i don’t think he has ever even implied that he wanted to trade either player.
as best as i can recall, he has always said that he valued their presence and thought that they were still extremely important pieces for his team.

What's your source on that? I've seen you write it a few times. I've never once seen it reported anywhere. I mean, it doesn't even look like Prince particularly likes any of his teammates right now, Maxiell included. I'm not saying it isn't true, but I've just never heard anyone say it but you.

Q continues to make stupid moves and fails to stand up to his vets – particularly Prince. Prince wants Max in the starting lineup. I personally cannot imagine a worse matchup than 6’6″ Max against 7’0″ Dirk.

I am almost ready to pull the plug on my Piston viewing. Q started using the kids right this season but as soon as his crybaby vets started complaining he caved in and is really ruining Austin Daye

Well, Dallas starts with 11-0 run and Stuckey has to limp off the court after taking a big hit. Showing up with strong efforts early against good teams continues to be an issue.
