"I can’t wait for the season to be a few weeks old so the guys who only write about the Pistons twice a year will finally be gone."

wow, I thought I was the only one who felt like that.
That's why I prefer those ones who cover just the local basketball team and the NBA in general (speaking of which, I'm glad the Detroit News sent hockey guy Ted Kulfan back to cover the Wings since it was obvious he didn't know much about the Pistons and the NBA) rather than those general sports columnists who don't know much about basketball and, more often than not, embarrass themselves talking about stuff they don't know.
Also, I'm sick of hearing about Drew Sharp (and the other general columnists) who keep reminding us true fans how much irrelevant the Pistons are on just about every Pistons-related article they post (Sharp is the same one who predicted the Pistons were leaving Detroit btw. Gotta love his positivity, uh?) I'm just sick to my stomach of hearing about this thing. I don't care if they are relevant, irrelevant blah blah blah (frick the bandwagoners), I just want to see them analyzing the team, not the team's popularity. Is it too much to ask?
