@Laser:

I'm going to have a post on that tomorrow. It wasn't just Prince. McGrady was a strange topic. He himself said he hadn't really spoken with anyone on the team before signing, and Ben Gordon was the only guy who really went out of his way to praise T-Mac's career and accomplishments.

No one was what I would call negative about him, but you could tell, particularly with Hamilton and Prince, that they know McGrady isn't going to be satisfied as a bench player as long as he's healthy again.

bwahahahaha. i love it.

personally, the most candid thing i saw was when they asked tayshaun if he was excited about t-mac coming to the team, and he hemmed and hawed and made it about as clear as humanly possible (without saying it explicitly) that he was NOT excited at all. that was the closest to an honest, negative moment i've seen out of this team since rip was bitching about coming off the bench. i sincerely appreciated a piston who wasn't just saying "the right thing."

Rip responding to that question was probably the most candid moment of media day. Hamilton was actually most upbeat of all the available players.
