Hey, Dan. No one brought the plus-minus numbers to the media’s attention. We saw it developing, and a few of us talked about it at length during the game Thursday night. Several players had a minus rating, but no one was even close to Rip once the game ended.
I planned to write about it for publication Saturday, but my column was getting long so I held the Rip stuff. I then was going to write about it for Sunday but saved it for Monday when other stuff came up Saturday.
Media members asked Kuester about Rip both Saturday and Sunday, but he didn’t address Rip’s defense or the plus/minus numbers directly.
