There is no doubt in my mind they are going. I was worried at the start but not at all now.

My reasons

JJ getting better every game. He has had 6 double doubles and we have 60 games left.

We beat Orlando without Rip or Tay.

We beat Atlanta in their arena without Rip, Tay, Gordon, or Bynum.

We beat Denver without Rip, Tay, Gordon, or Bynum.

The Piston only got outplayed in one game, playing the Suns in Phoenix.

They were very close to winning the other 11 games that were lost.

They did most of this without their 3 highest paid players.

How good would Boston be without the big 3?

How good would the Cavs be without Lebron, Shaq and Z.

Good team are supposed to win at home, 5 of the 12 lost were to the top contenders and in their areana. Usually they are spreaded out but we got a bunch of contenders all in the first month.

They havent played one game with all players yet. The first game was close but we didnt have JJ or Daye. That game they led by over 30 at one point.

I go by how they play. Last year even the games they won they never looked good. They have looked good in every game but the Phoenix game this year. Without the main players they still look great.

These other teams could not play how the Pistons have played without their top 3 or 4 players.

The rookies are ahead of schedule because they have been thrown in the fire. They would usually play like this in year 2.

Coach Q is good.

Hollingers playoff odds calculator is blind to injuries. That 57% chance is if we continue to be injured like we have year to date. If we can stay relatively healthy the rest of the year once everyone comes back we'll be in great shape to make the playoffs.
