He played no role in Detroit's rise from the lottery. After the Pistons' back-to-back Finals appearances, Wallace sort of coasted. He didn't do a lot to impact the team then.</p> <p>A reason Darko isn't higher is you never know how good Carmelo Anthony would have been on the Pistons. I'm not sure how much he would've played as a rookie, and maybe that would've influenced his career. Another factor is the Pistons were excellent in the years after they picked Darko.
