pistons dont need gordon to rebound or pass the ball. they brought him in to be a scorer and thats fine. we got other guys to do the passing and intangibles. the game of basketball is not measured in assists or rebounds, but in points, and that being the case.. gordon is valuable cause he can put points on the scoreboard.

Somebody loves one-dimensional scorers...
Gordon isn't a good NBA basketball player. In fact, he is below average. He doesn't bring anything to the table other than efficient scoring and a high though not murderously so turnover rate. There is a lot more to being a basketball player than scoring.
Last night, he played 26 minutes with just 2 rebounds and one assist to go with 2 turnovers.
On the nights he shoots well he will look great. On the nights he doesn't shoot well he will kill the Pistons. They are going to regret signing him for as much money as they did.

Vinnie was much better at 2-point shots than Ben; it's hard to compare them overall because the 3 point line wasn't introduced until he was already in the league; he never took many. But Vinnie also got more rebounds, assists, steals, and blocks than Ben gets. So maybe Ben is a better scorer, but can we wait for him to expand his game a bit before we retire his jersey?

good game last night.. got my league pass for the 1st time and can watch the pistons out in cali finally.. yeah!!! <--- in my little john voice. gordon looked good, hamilton also.. cant wait till this team gels and see what we can do. the future looks bright for this team. no longer think we should trade rip or tay.. the offseason and the years away from watching the pistons has got to me.
