Ex-Spartan Marquise Gray, others join summer league team
By Dan Feldman - 2:42 am | July 8th, 2009Former Michigan State power forward Marquise Gray has joined the Pistons’ summer league team, according to Chris McCosky of the Detroit News.
Former Bobcat Sean Singletary and former Jazz and Pacers Andre Owens have also been added to the roster, according to McCosky. They are competing to be Detroit’s third point guard.
Matt Freije and Ibrahim Jaaber aren’t with the team. Jonas Jerebko might have to miss summer league games because of international restrictions. And Walter Sharpe is in Detroit with an injury.
