Keep in mind we only read one version of what happened, and that's from Chauncey. I'm not saying it's inaccurate, but there could be another side.

It's logical the Pistons didn't want to tell him before he got on the plane. No sense having him stew in tight confines. And him sensing nobody was looking at him? That could just be Chauncey making the story fit with what he thought he saw.

If these details are accurate, I'm a little disappointed in Dumars and co. But I'm not ready to accept them all as fact.

A Chill actually ran through me when i read how management gave Chauncey the cold shoulder when they were on the plane and then on in to Charlotte. I always knew that CB was was misled into believing he was going to be a Piston for life; and how Rip inked his extension before he knew Chauncey was going to be traded. However, i never knew they had treated him this badly. Now the wound has been reopened for many of us Chauncey fans. That wasn't right the way they treated Chauncey, it wasn't right i tell you!. I hope Denver has a date with Destiny and the Larry O'Brien Trophy with or Without the Cavs.
