Flip didn&#039;t have control of the players, either. But at least he knew it and could manage the team accordingly.

Curry tries to control things he can&#039;t

It&#039;s a players&#039; league, and you have to relinquish control as a coach - especially on a team like Detroit, which is full of veterans who have been deep in the playoffs.
