The Pistons need to share the ball better than they have, no doubt. But sometimes, when the defense tightens, they need someone who can create his own shot. Iverson can do that better than anyone the Pistons have had in the last eight years.

Despite the 31 points, AI did not help the Piston’s cause last night. The Pistons do not share the ball anymore. They don’t commit to real defense (staying in front of your man rather than going for the steal). I think AI is one of the most remarkable athletes of his generation in any sport, but he has sadly evolved into a cancer — maybe not of Marburian proportions, but a cancer nonetheless.
